This is a high prospecting/high activity environment. A first year rep gets 40%+ of the business from their own prospecting. An average rep has 12+ appointments per week. Each rep has a geographical territory based on zip codes.
As the rep’s skill level increase, networking becomes a large factor in success. We network with the Payroll sales force and partnering with their CPA’s. They have the ability to refer us qualified prospects both inside and outside of our client base. Building strong referral relationships is a key to long term success at our company.

Management and Training:
The Sales Training Program is one of the most successful and comprehensive sales training program in the country. Representatives receive in-depth training: both in the classroom and in the field. New employees spend two weeks at our Corporate Training and Development Center in Rochester, New York. All technical knowledge is given at this point. 90 days later, there is a one week advanced training program to sharpen those skills. Our training course creates and solidifies the foundation which contributes to the new employee's future success as a Sales Representative. Lots of direction is given from DSM in year one. We build structure and give all the tools for the job.

Requirements
· 2-5 year outside sales experience (strong preference is business to business)
· Sales success (conference like attendee is preferred or ranking in the top 10-20% in their previous organization).
· Sales is clearly stated on their resume. Examine the verbs that they use to describe themselves and their jobs.
