This contest has launched major bands and got them radio air play on KROQ’s Locals only such as: Heartstop, Sink To See, The Jakes, The Bolts. This year the contest will include the 1st Place Prize will include.

All Semi- finalist will be directly submitted to Kat Corbette's

play.(This Battle has been responsible for getting band such as Heartstop, Sink To See, The Jakes, and The Bolts all on her show regularily, and they all competed in the Battle of the Bands.)
