LEAD ELEMENTARY AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM PLAY GUIDE
Lead Elementary After School Program Play Guide M.A.P.S., Montessori Autism Programs and Services has developed an after-school, inclusion, play group program complimenting the Montessori Method and using the Integrated Play Group therapy model. We are currently looking for a qualified person who is available in the afternoon and evening hours to assist children ages 3-9 with and without developmental delays in our social skills therapy programs.
Our after school program takes place at a private preschool - elementary campus in Folsom. The typical age ranges of children are between 6 and 9 years old with anywhere from 4-16 children participating. Usually, one or two of the children participating have a developmental delay so; applicants should be familiar with children that have special needs. Some of the duties include supervision of outside play, preparing arts and crafts projects and other group activities. Set up and clean up are also required and built into the schedule. Applicants must be in good health and able to get out and play with the children.
Please note that our hours and days are not flexible since the children attend everyday. The position requires someone who is willing to commit to a M-F position 2:30 pm -6:30 pm
Requirements:
Must have at least one year previous experience working with children
ECE/EDU/PSYCH units or Higher Education
Location: Folsom
Compensation: $12.00 per hour
