Hello, I am an attorney in Southern California that also has a practice in the Sacramento Area. I started to expand my practice in this area because after interviewing several clients, I discovered that there is a wealth of INCORRECT information being given out in this area by so called "debt relief" specialists and real estate agents who do not have your best interests at heart: only their commission.
Also I have had the chance to review the work of "bankruptcy preparers" who are not supposed to give legal advice, but who do anyway, and do it badly. As a result bankruptcy filings are getting dismissed, homes are foreclosed on, the client is in a worse position than when we started and the "bankruptcy preparer" disappears.
I am a fully licensed attorney from a Major ABA accredited law school: Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco. I also have a Master of Law in Law, Psychiatry and Criminology from George Washington University, The National Law Center in Washington DC. I teach bankruptcy at the UCLA paralegal school and Appellate law at the UCLA Extension School.
