This position is responsible for leading multi-discipline engineering team in new product development and spiral development of products for the Cargo Product Line. This includes complete lifecycle from concept to release and sustainment.

Successful candidate must ensure that products meet requirements and product specifications. Also responsible for engineering estimates and technical schedules as well as driving proper development processes and complete documentation including requirements, specifications, design reviews, validation tests and Bills of Material.

Requirements:

BS in Engineering with a minimum of 5 years experience; advanced degree preferred

Prior experience as a design engineer in a new product development setting

Prior experience leading multi-disciplined technical teams in new product development, thru transition to manufacturing

Prepare/manage budget/schedule using MS Project & Excel

Strong technical combined with communication and project leadership abilities and a proven record in successful execution of product development in a team environment

Lean design experience desired

The Ideal Candidate 5+ to 7 years of experience
Management Experience Required - No
Minimum Education - Bachelor's Degree

Willingness to Travel - Occasionally
