Express Employment Professionals is currently assisting their client in the search for an experienced Mechanical Engineer, P.E. for their expanding Engineering Firm in Rochester, NY. THIS DIRECT HIRE POSITION, REPORTING TO THE PRESIDENT OF THE COMPANY, OFFERS THE OPPORTUNITY TO BECOME PART OWNER IN THE FIRM!!!!

PURPOSE: To provide Engineering and Support for the Development and Documentation of Concepts and Designs of Special HVAC and Plumbing Systems, Energy Management, and Sprinkler and Fire Protection Systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Design of HVAC Systems for Commercial, Industrial, Educational, and Health Care Facilities,
• Design of Plumbing Systems including Domestic Water, Sanitary, and Storm for the above Facilities,
• Design of Fire Protection Systems,
• Must be familiar with NFPA, Building Codes, and ASHRAE Standards.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering discipline,
• PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING LICENSURE
• 5-10 years experience with HVAC and Plumbing Systems
• 5-10 years experience with Energy and Systems Analysis, Computer Simulations, and/or Control Systems,
• 5-10 years experience with Sprinkler and Fire Protection Systems
• Must be a self-starter, able to take initiative with project work and follow it through to completion,
• Must be results driven,
• Ability to excel in a team environment,
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
• Minimal travel, typically New York State.

SALARY:
• Salary will be based entirely on experience in the $60-100K range, plus benefits, vacation, etc.
