Arctic Slope Regional Corporation-Management Systems (ASRC-MS), Inc. has a vacancy for a Computer Systems Analyst/Computer Scientist supporting the Radar Operations Center in Norman OK. The position provides software support to embedded/support computers of the NEXRAD WSR-88D Radar system.
The main duties will be to maintain and develop GUIs using both the C programming language and the Motif toolkit. Future work includes GUI development using different toolkits such as GTK. Other software duties may be required.
The qualified candidate will have a background in developing software in a Linux environment. Mandatory requirements include a fundamental grasp of the C programming language and experience in GUI development using Motif or GTK toolkits. Knowledge of scripting languages and GNU Make is desirable.
