Arctic Slope Regional Corporation-Management Systems (ASRC-MS), Inc. has vacancies for Software Engineers to support the National Aeronautical Service Engineering Division, Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center, Will Rogers Airport, Oklahoma City, OK. The positions support the FAA Automated Weather Observing System (AWOS) and the Systems Atlanta Information Display System-4 (SAIDS-4), including dedicated/integrated computers and communication systems.
A BSEE or same degree with computer option or computer science minor is required. A degree in another technical discipline can be substituted depending on other qualifications and length and type of specialized experience.
Desirable experiences include C (C++), Visual C, Visual Basic, HTML, and .net programming abilities in Windows/UNIX; network installation demonstrating facility with older communications (Serial RS422/RS485/RS232 ) protocols and Token Ring and peer-to-peer topologies; capability to interface with the technical staff in a team environment and provide help-desk support to end users.
Strong PC Tech and Network Tech abilities, A+ and Net+ or appropriate job experience to demonstrate mastery. Strong MS DOS and Windows experience.
