I hope you can appreciate that during these financial hard times, we are receiving hundreds of resumes daily, however so many of the resumes we receive are not even applicable to our postings. We design and build a standard and custom line of heat sealers which means that new challenges arise daily. We serve an industry that demands quick turnaround at continuously reduced costs. To succeed we have become known as our industry’s innovator, as a company that continuously applies good old “American Ingenuity.”
We believe our ideal candidate possesses the following skills:
• Positive Can-do attitude
• Experience as a designer and hands-on fabricator
• At minimum has a BSME degree or equivalent experience
• Has had project management responsibility experience
• Proven track record of 5 or more years experience
• Has experience building machinery that includes motors, motion control, encoders, speed reducers, drivers, automation, pneumatics, sensors, electro-mechanical integration, etc.
• Has experience programming with a variety of PLCs and HMI devices.
• Experience wiring and troubleshooting electrical systems and PLCs.
• Experience working with machine shop tools including vertical mill, bandsaw, drill press, hand drills, and other non-CNC shop tools.
• Possesses a “McGuiver” approach to problem solving.
• Fluent communication skills in English and comfortable communicating with management, engineering staff and clients.
• Non smoker
• Enjoy the benefits of working in a small company and working with other engineers, scientists and craftsmen.
An additional understanding of using computers to assist in the design of machinery is a bonus, especially if you have a working knowledge and experience using:
• Alibre or Solidworks for solid modeling. We don’t use AutoCad.
• Algor or equivalent understanding and use of Finite Element Analysis.
• Animation software.
