We currently have an opening for a Field Technician to travel to job sites and conduct groundwater sampling.
Responsibilities:
• Perform groundwater and soil sampling activities at selected sites in the NJ and PA region
• Provide assistance with the completion of tasks associated with environmental sampling programs of facilities including: water/wastewater treatment plants, sanitary storm sewers, leachate collection systems, landfill gas collection systems, ground water recovery and remediation systems.
• Complete paperwork, including field data sheets, expense reports, and equipment logs for assigned tasks.
• Perform additional tasks when required including site grounds keeping, light construction, equipment repair, etc.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in geology or related environmental field or
• Associates degree with 3+ years of relevant experience
• Familiarity with sampling techniques a plus
• Be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to work independently
• Valid driver’s license
