Kennedy-Donovan Center is currently seeking Foster Care homes in the following three locations (New Bedford, MA area, Milford, MA area, and all throughout the Cape Cod and Islands).

Intensive Foster Care is for children, birth 22 years of age. Each child is matched with a foster family based on their needs and the skills of the foster family. All types of families and people are needed to provide homes and support for these children. Kennedy-Dononvan Center provides families with the training necessary to foster children wit complex needs.

The Rewards of Foster Parenting:

1. Intensive Foster Care provider's receive a daily stipen of $50 a day (1,500 a month)

2. Provide a family for a child who would not otherwise have one;
3. Provide a safe and nurturing environment;
4. Protect children at risk for abuse and neglect;
5. Assist in the reunification of birth families;
6. Assist birth families in learning to care for their child;
7. Enhance the lives of children through social, recreational, and cultural activities.
