Nation's second leading coffee brewing systems company is seeking a Quality Manager to join their dynamic team. Great work environment, Salary DOE, excellent benefits including profit sharing and 401K SUMMARY OF POSITION: The Quality Manager will manage the Quality Department as well as administer and continuously improve the ISO-9000 quality system DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Ability to manage a quality department within a strong ISO environment utilizing modern quality procedures and equipment. Develop and analyze statistical data and product specifications to ensure quality and reliability specifications are met. Responsible for administering and improving an internal quality system audit program to monitor and ensure compliance with quality system requirements, including corrective actions, training, and follow up audits. Responsible for maintaining the calibration of all inspection and testing equipment within the organization. Responsible for training and directing personnel in quality and inspection activities. Responsible for continuous improvement, addressing formal and informal customer complaints and quality system compliance. Plan and organize training activities related to product quality and compliance with the ISO 9001 – 2000 quality standard. Vendor certifications Accumulation of quality data followed by meaningful presentation Maintain ISO Compliance documentation REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s of Science degree from four-year College or University. 5 years experience in a management position within a quality department. Must be able to manage a department Must have a facility with equipment and techniques (such as measuring devices), capability studies, statistical techniques, problem solving / root cause analysis. Must have excellent Verbal and Written communications skills. Proficient in Office Suite Occasional International Travel may be required. Must be able to comfortably interface with customers and vendors on quality related issues. ASQ CMQ/OE preferred.
